The Fear of God | Part 1
This morning’s service carries a powerful and stirring theme: “The Fear of God.” Not a fear that drives us away, but a holy reverence that draws us closer—awakening awe, deep love, and unshakable faith.
As we gather, we anchor our hearts in the beautiful promise of 1 Peter 1:8 (KJV):
“Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory.”
There’s something extraordinary about believing without seeing. It unlocks a joy that words can’t contain and a glory that fills every corner of our worship. Today, we step into that joy. We lean into that reverence. We open ourselves to the God who is both mighty in power and tender in love.
Expect an atmosphere charged with praise, a word that will challenge and elevate your spirit, and a community ready to rejoice with joy unspeakable.
Lift your faith. Lean in with expectation.
It’s going to be a morning full of glory.
