Your Secret Life

⚔️Warriors:
Today I want us to look at a scripture and see if it talks to you the way it has been talking to me.
Romans 2:16 says, “And this is the message I proclaim— that the day is coming when God, through Jesus Christ, will judge everyone’s secret life.”
Did you catch that? It doesn’t say just your life; it says your secret life.
People think they can live two different lives. They think, “I can live this lifestyle in front of my family, my friends and my church and they will never know what goes on behind closed doors. I can keep that part of my life hidden.”
But here’s the truth: God sees it all!
We can hide things from people, but we can’t hide anything from God.
He sees what happens in public and He sees what happens in private. He knows the things that nobody else knows. He knows the thoughts that we don’t speak, the choices we make when nobody is watching and the person we are behind closed doors.
You can live the most profound Christian life you want to live at church; You can raise your hands, sing the songs, shout the praises and tell everybody how much you love Jesus but if the life you live behind closed doors doesn’t match the life you live in front of people, then what you’re showing everyone else is nothing more than smoke and mirrors.
God isn’t looking for a performance, He is looking for a surrendered heart.

James 1:22 says, “Do not merely listen to the Word, & so deceive yourself. Do what it says.”
That means Christianity isn’t just about what people see on Sunday mornings; it’s about who we are on Monday morning when nobody is watching.
So this morning, I want you to ask yourself a hard question:
Who am I when nobody is watching?
I want us to get this right. When we say we surrender, that doesn’t mean halfway. It’s everything; It’s your personal secrets that no one knows about.
The devil wouldn’t be attacking you so hard if there wasn’t something valuable inside of you. Thieves don’t break into empty houses.
